I have to say I love your show. I can not get over how absolutely beautiful this building is. It’s a shame that it’s been closed. I hope that the building wasn’t demolished. It’s too beautiful to destroy.
Thanks Gordon Ramsay

Well, at first look, the statistics are quite dismal. Ramsay only “rescued” 8 out of 22 restaurants he visited. What we overlooked is almost 100% of these establishments will close anyway and that is why they participated in Ramsay’s program. He is only a consultant and can only offer advice. 9 out of 10 times, the problems are with the owners (lack of business sense, lack of knowledge in the catering business) If they are unwilling to change, their business will go under, period. Ramsay cannot work miracle.

As an american I watched the US version of Kitchen Nightmares first. Having seen that, its obvious that Gordon is genuinely interested in turning around these restaurants. The fact he saved more than a third (8/22) of these restaurants is only a sign of his ability to run a restaurant.
