1 reason:
sleepless nights

Two more reasons:
50% of restaurants probably won’t still be in business a year after they first open.
Gordon Ramsay might visit. :))

I have a difficult time accepting the accusation that the owner didn’t actually do the cooking on relaunch night because the show aired plenty of footage of him doing it! In fact, he did it right in front of the customers.

I originally thought it was an old man and his daughter running a restaurant. Talk about robbing the cradle!

This show is so heavily edited that they even superimpose Ramsey into scenes to make arguements seem more intense. And the producer says the show is so popular mainly because its so honest LOL!

Asking if Dave brushes his teeth with cigarettes… classic! What else could Ramsay think? He thought the tomato was an olive. Yikes.

Superimposed Ramsey??? never saw that. Heavily edited: ABSOLUTELY; it’s TV.

He had a nice girl, littel bit too fat but very good looking.
And he was like 46 and she 30. Thats not robbing the cradle.
And the shows producer just speaks bullshit.

Yeah its edited but not half as bad as the American version.. I hate how much the show has been dumb down in the USA.. UK version is much better

Hi Pat!
Was looking for the same thing and decided to write it all down from the episode.
Have not had the time to edit and correct the spelling but anyway, here it is:
1. dont assume, winning an award means people will know who you are and where you are.
2. Never outpoint yourself head chef if you can’t cook.
3. If you loose all powers of communication under heavy pressure, you shouldnt even be in the kitchen.
4. If your chefs cant distinguish between heavenly and hell-ish food combinations your customers wont be coming back for more.
5. Don’t give your establishment a name that makes it sound like a strip-joint
6. First floor establishments are notoriously hard to fill.
7. Dont tempt to cook elaborate food untill you’ve mastered the very basics.
8. Dont assume you can run a restaurant just because you’ve worked in one.
9. You are only as good as your last service.
10. Dont sink your life savings in opening a restaurant if you are in any doubt about its success.
