October 2005, the owner Maura Dooris sold Oscar’s, the Evening Standard quoted Maura saying ‘The one good thing about Gordon coming was that he brought the drink problem out into the open and I’m very thankful for that,’ she said. ‘We’ve now got help for Lenin. It was a shock when he collapsed but we need more people to talk openly about this sort of thing.’

February 2006, The Daily Star publishes an article about ex-chef Lenin Moore. In the article Lenin thanks Ramsay for saving his life, and he further thanks Gordon for arranging for him to get into rehab and get specialist help from one of his friends. More Info
