The Curry Lounge didn’t even make the runners up list in the ‘08 Nottingham Restaurant Awards (took place on the 11th June)

Well i read their website and it looks like they are doing really well. 2 new ones are opening/were opened (don’t know) in 2 other cities and they are offering franchises to people…

Gordon was right it did look like a 80s strip joint lol I thought the owner looked like he should manage one. Im loving watching all 5 seasons hehe Becoming every so cynical.I might even tell my cat to Fuck off!(joking puss)

Gordon is so metropolitan on one level - many Indian restaurants in the north have the upright naan stands. They are a good idea for a huge naan which otherwise takes up half the table

Man, while the place did look like a strip club and too sleazy for a restaurant, that head waitress could lap dance for me any time.

Those naan stands are a TERRiBLE idea.
I like my bread a little warm.
I live near Edison, NJ, which has a HUGE Indian population, and I’ve never seen, in any of the 20+ Indian restaurants in the town, those stupid stands.
