February 2008, The Daily Express reports Gordon Ramsay has offered a job to ex-chef India Innes. She was initially given a two week work experience at his Knightsbridge restaurant, The Boxwood Cafe. The placement went so well that Gordon has now offered her a full-time job. More Info

She had a kind of vacant lack of focus that made me suspicious she was using. Ramsay hiring the chef was a solid high point. I love the series. I would be proud to have Chef Ramsay swear at me and ask me to leave one of his restaurants someday.

I got the same impression.
I loved the part where Gordon opens for lunch on his own, tells the diners to pay what they think it is worth, and then does a tidy profit.
