  2. Toby was really a bad bad cook! Dont missunderstand me i like gordons way to talk with people, but in this episode i think he really hurt toby.

however i hope toby found a job hes good at and is happy.

  3. Look I ate at Planet Hollywood “Toby’s former place of business” it was probably one of the worst meals I have ever had, by the way all of the Planet Hollywoods are out of business now! I think that Gordon was dead on about him. He couldn’t run a grill.LOL

  4. Toby cooked as crap as he looked

  5. Looks like the Priory will not be serving its carvery any longer:

  6. If you view the website you will see that the Priory carvery closed on the 7th June, 2009 and a Spanish Tapas bar is in its place.

  7. Priory has just shut down. See this notice. Its reopening under new management.

It closed last week. Seven months after changing back against Ramsays’ advice.

  9. Its like telling being a baseball player and Derek Jeter comes in to give you advice, and you say no thanks Derek, I think im better off doing things on my own that haven’t worked over and over and over again and ignoring all of your tips.

  10. Don’t forget the chef at D-Place was also from Planet Hollywood. He was actually fired by PH.

  11. I wonder what happened to Matt? He was talented and gorgeous to look upon as well!

  12. CLOSED. Sold to a Spaniard, and re-opening as a tapas bar.

  14. Toby was a crap Chef

  15. Augh, the “broccoli soup” sitting on the floor of the cooler - I hope it was the cooler at least. Doesn’t matter, it looked like sludge. Now there was a lazy “chef”, and he admitted it. He claimed he started it the day before and just hadn’t had time to thicken it. There’s so many things wrong with that statement, one doesn’t know where to begin. It should be made when needed, not made and left to sit. It should be made thick via the vegetable itself, not some thickener. And he was so lazy, that he left it to sit not because of other things, he was just too lazy to mess with it any more, but planned on serving it some time later. The guy was a Loser.

  16. Of course older folks and young families like cheap buffet food because it doesn’t have to taste like much and it can be a rather cost effective way of taking the family out for dinner but let’s be honest this was a style of restaurant went out of style like twenty years ago.

To ignore the advice of somebody who knows what they are talking about and put only half measures into trying the new ideas is total lunacy.

  17. i knew this place was doomed i just had to double check. matt was the only one with a clue. that carvery food looked puke worthy. bogo coupons? wow that owner was a dipshit

  18. Actually, I think Gordon said Toby couldn’t run a bath.

  19. You’re right Grep, that Chef Toby was a wanker. The only thing this Restruant had going for it was the head cheff Matt.
